Construction Laborer - Residential Remodeling

Location: Greeley, CO. This is an on-site field position requiring travel to residential job sites throughout Northern Colorado.

Integrity Construction & Restoration is a growing residential remodeling and insurance-reconstruction company based in Greeley, Colorado. Our crews work on kitchens, bathrooms, basements, fire and water damage repairs, and other residential improvement projects throughout Northern Colorado. We are seeking a dependable laborer who will help keep our projects safe, clean, organized, and moving forward.

The Construction Laborer will support carpenters and field leaders with material handling, jobsite preparation, careful demolition, cleanup, and general project tasks. Because much of our work takes place in occupied homes, this position requires more care and professionalism than a typical rough construction labor role.

You do not need to be an experienced carpenter, but you must be reliable, willing to learn, comfortable with physical work, and respectful of clients' homes. Strong performers may have the opportunity to advance into an Apprentice Carpenter position.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare job sites before work begins
Install floor protection, dust barriers, and containment materials
Assist with careful residential demolition
Load, unload, move, and organize project materials
Stage tools, equipment, and supplies for the field crew
Remove construction debris and maintain designated disposal areas
Sweep, vacuum, and complete daily cleanup
Assist carpenters with basic tasks under supervision
Protect homeowners' belongings and maintain safe access whenever possible
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow PPE requirements and company safety procedures
Care for company tools, vehicles, and equipment
Track work time using a smartphone
Report damaged materials, hazards, or unexpected conditions promptly
Communicate respectfully with homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors

Qualifications

Construction or remodeling experience helpful but not required
Reliable transportation to assigned job sites is required.
Strong work ethic
Ability to follow directions and work safely
Respectful and professional behavior in occupied homes
Willingness to clean continuously, not only at the end of the project
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Coachable attitude and interest in learning new skills
Comfortable using a smartphone for timekeeping and basic documentation
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including lifting and carrying construction materials and frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay and Benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Pay: $18-$23 per hour, depending on experience
Employees may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
Occasional overtime or Saturday work
PTO accrued at one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually

Up to $100 annual work-boot reimbursement after 30 days

Position Summary

This document defines the role, objectives, expected results, performance indicators, and required capabilities for the Construction Laborer assigned to residential remodeling projects at Integrity Construction & Restoration. The Construction Laborer performs manual and semi-skilled support tasks to enable safe, on‑time, and quality progress of site work under the direction of craft leads and supervisors. The role emphasizes execution of physical tasks, basic use and maintenance of hand and light power tools, site housekeeping, material handling, and direct support of skilled trades during installation, repair, demolition, and finishing activities.

The purpose of the role is to remove barriers to trade productivity, maintain compliant and efficient work areas, and deliver timely physical labor that supports project schedules and quality standards. This document is for internal use to align expectations, measure performance, and guide development.

Objective A — Maintain continuous trade support to meet scheduled daily craft milestones.\n

Tool proficiency: Competence with hand tools, portable power tools (drills, saws, grinders), air tools (pneumatic hammers), cement mixers, and small mechanical hoists; basic preventive maintenance and secure storage practices.
Site safety and compliance: Working knowledge of OSHA residential construction requirements, PPE use, hazard recognition, and lockout/tagout basics relevant to light equipment.

The Construction Laborer reports to the onsite foreman or craft lead. The role has authority to perform assigned physical tasks, operate designated light equipment, and implement site housekeeping activities. The laborer must seek direction for deviations from work instructions, escalate safety concerns immediately to supervisors, and coordinate daily with trade leads, material handlers, and site safety personnel. This position does not include trade-level decision authority, supervisory responsibilities, or operation of heavy equipment except where specifically certified and authorized by company policy.
